Whisky-Peach Caprese Bites

Perfect for summer gatherings, garden parties, or as a light appetiser, they’re quick to assemble and make a stylish addition to any platter. Swap in nectarines or plums for a seasonal variation, or go plant-based with vegan mozzarella. Bright, boozy, and beautifully balanced.

  2. Toss the peach slices in the mixture.Assemble bites by layering a peach slice, a mozzarella ball, and a basil leaf. Secure with a toothpick.

  3. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Tips & Variations:

  • Substitute peaches with nectarines or plums.

  • Use vegan mozzarella for a plant-based option.

In these recipes we haven’t specified the whisky to use, as you know what you like best, and it also allows you to experiment.

However, if you want a start, a good light, vanilla forward single malt to use would be The Glasgow Distillery’s Original. If you are looking to add some smokey depth, try The English Smokey, or if you want something fruity, try Arran Sherry Cask ‘The Bodega’.
